Scenarios

What people rent porta potties for in Irvine

Six situations that account for nearly every order we take, and what each one usually needs on the ground.

The common thread

Headcount, hours, and where it can be reached

Whatever the job, three questions decide the order: how many people, for how long, and how a delivery truck gets to the spot. Everything else follows from those.

Headcount sets the base

Ten workers or a hundred guests per unit is the starting arithmetic. Everything after that is an adjustment on top of it.

Hours and drink push it up

A four-hour event and an eight-hour one are not the same job. Serving alcohol adds roughly a quarter again to usage.

Access decides the placement

A unit is only useful where people will walk to it and a truck can reach it. That is usually the real constraint, not the count.

About matching units to jobs

Quite a lot. A job site is mostly standards plus a hand-washing station; a wedding is a trailer plus one accessible unit; a festival is banks of standards with accessible units spread through them. The pages here set out what each one usually takes.

Yes. A film shoot with a build crew and a catered lunch is really two jobs on one site, and we quote it as one order with the right mix on the ground.

Not per unit. Events tend to cost more overall because they need accessible units, hand-washing stations and sometimes mid-event servicing, not because the daily rate is different.

Job sites can usually be next-day. Parties want a week. Weddings and permitted festivals should book as soon as the date is fixed.

Yes, regularly. Send us the restroom condition on the permit and we will quote against the number it states.

Call anyway. Film units, church picnics, dog shows, plant sales, road closures - the sizing logic is the same and we will work it out on the phone.

Tell us what the job is

One call and we will size it, price it flat and book a delivery window.
